By following this map you will get to "Casa
de los Fundadores" in Villa de Leyva, departing from Bogotá
heading north, rather by "Carrera 7ª " or by
"Autopista del Norte" up to La Caro, where
you may choose if you wish to take the road to Tunja or the
way to Chiquinquirá.
The rout on Tunja's side has more
traffic and is in very good conditions. It is a 4 lane road up to Tocancipá.
If you wish to get to Villa de Leyva faster you may take a detour at "
Puente de Boyacá monument ". Turn left on the road
to " Samacá" which will lead you to Villa de Leyva in
